Divine Mercy Academy is a center of excellence for children who are best served when taught using a non-traditional teaching approach. By using an innovative and integrative approach to teaching and learning, we will help our students enhance their capacity to learn. This will be achieved through a spiritually rich environment so they can acquire the skills and confidence to succeed in life with a clear foundation that is rooted in their faith.
We strive to present a school environment where your child is able to both learn and have fun. We supply a safe environment and an education focused on developing your child’s capacity to learn. Classes with 10 or less students allow our teachers to give proper attention to the needs of each student and because of this each student enjoys individualized learning plans.

DMA Leadership Squad Program
Although our students may be young, and they may experience some challenges, they also display many gifts and talents. Working with our children over the past few months we have seen glimpses of traits and skills that ear mark future leaders.
We want to take the opportunity to encourage and grow the skills we have been seeing in a healthy, positive, direction. Our future needs effective leaders. Starting in January we will begin our DMA Leadership Service Squad Program to encourage the students to recognize their leadership gifts and talents. The DMA Leadership Service Squad Program is designed to provide direction and opportunities for the students to continue to develop the skills they already possess and to develop and teach new leadership skills.
Our Purpose
The goal of Divine Mercy Academy is to prepare our students with the necessary academic, social-emotional, moral, and spiritual tools vital to engage faithfully and responsively in the world.
Our definition of success is student-centered. We want each student to succeed to the best of his or her abilities. Our challenge is to identify student strengths and weaknesses and provide an individualized curriculum, in a Christ centered environment, that will ensure maximum growth and development—not just in academics but in life as well.
Our Community
Divine Mercy Academy (DMA) is a private educational institution operating in the Catholic tradition. DMA specializes in providing essential supports and evidence-based instruction to children with special needs. The Divine Mercy Academy mission is to ensure that the children, who often have faced numerous challenges in other educational settings, receive the quality education, instruction and care they need to succeed.
A few years ago, it came to the attention of a group of concerned individuals that there were children who were grappling with unique difficulties, had been unsuccessful in mainstream schools, often numerous schools, leaving the children and their families in a state of emotional and educational distress. Divine Mercy Academy, now in its fifth year of operation, was established with the commitment to address student learning challenges by offering a safe, inclusive, and specialized environment where children they could thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
